Support our safe water program.
Every single day almost 1000 children lose their lives to the devastating water crisis. Most of them are under the age of 5. Amongst the thousands, only a few hundreds have a family that mourns their death.
No piped water in our community.
Our community of Kikandwa and surrounding areas has no access to piped(tap) water. Children and families depend on unsafe water soureces and expensive water vendors. Children walk long distances daily or use contaminated water, leading to frequent illness, poor hygiene, and children missing school.
At Kalibville cooperative community, we are working to change these through our safe water program by constructing boreholes and protected wells to supply clean, safe water to our school and communities in operational areas
Your donation helps to:
- Drill community boreholes and wells.
- Provide clean drinking water to school children and families.
- Reduce water borne diseases.
- Support handwashing and sanitation at schools.
- Save families time and money spent buying unsafe water.
- To reduce early child dropout due to unwanted pregnancies.
Bring clean water to our community:

It takes:
- €2,246 per one borehole.
- 2566 euros per one complete protected pumped well.
