Kalibville Children Christmas party Program.
Kalibville Children’s Christmas party is KCC’s annual end-of-year community Christmas Gift Party celebrations for all needy children and widows in KCC’s childcare and community support program in Uganda, aimed at providing tangible decent Christmas gifts and in-kind items to orphaned children, youths, and widows.
Every year, Kalibville Cooperative Community (KCC) organizes children’s Christmas Gift Party Celebration for orphans and disadvantaged children in the communities where we work. During this community event, children receive tangible Christmas gifts and present donated by friends and well-wishers. The objective of the program is to enable less privileged children, youth, and widows, to share in the joy and blessing of Christmas by giving them:
Food, Hygiene supplies, School supplies, Clothing, Shoes

You can support young talents in sports with a Gift Amount of $1,000, $500, $250, $100 to develop skills and also to empower youths in our communities
Kalibville Community Sports Program.
Sports can change individuals AND communities. Using sport for development, we engage 500 children – boys and girls – in a year-round community outreach football program where we provide free coaching, competition, and life skills in Kakiri’s sub county’s most vulnerable village in Uganda. The aim of the program is to introduce children to structured sport, provide them with a healthy alternative lifestyle, and scout local talent. Uganda’s youth (8-24yrs) includes children who cannot exercise their right to play (access, acceptance); children who do not get the recommended amount of physical activity (stunting, obesity); an increasingly inactive labor force; and cases of violent misconduct due to ethnic intolerance/unawareness. Using football and netball to engage 5000 children/year, we provide free coaching to communities that benefit from recreational and competitive activity while instilling in them the values of sportsmanship.
Maternal & Child Health Program.
Kalibville Cooperative Community is focused on improving nutrition for the most vulnerable, especially women and girls. This includes helping more pregnant women and their newborns receive access to essential health care services, medicines and other commodities, including vitamins and minerals.
In collaboration with local authorities and key partners, and through support from KCC, we undertook an extensive research project in Kikandwa communities to increase access to antenatal care (ANC), birth care and postnatal care (PNC) for pregnant women and their newborns.
You can support a pregnant woman and newborn child:
€50/ $60 for normal delivery
€150/ $160 for cesarean section
Challenge.
In 2018, approximately 4 women around the Kikandwa community died in one week due to pregnancy-related causes.
In the same year, almost 25 newborns died in their first 28 days of life. Many of these causes are preventable and have affordable and proven solutions.
Women who live in low-income families in the Kikandwa, wakiso district and who do not have the resources available or needed for a healthy pregnancy and birth experience are at particular risk.
With inadequate information and access to maternal nutrition and vital health services, many of these women are ill-equipped to meet the special nutritional needs of pregnancy.
In order to make a meaningful impact, it is vital to tailor a series of interventions to the exact needs and realities of women in their communities.
